How to End War:
Recognize Warmongering as a High Crime,
Since That's What It Is

I'll make this as brief and simple as I can.

A logjam can be a terribly complex and complicated mess. Out of the perhaps thousands of logs tangled and locked together, there will be a few key logs, any of which, if removed or unlocked, will free the rest of the jam to untangle so they can all pass downriver freely.

One of the worst aspects of human life is war. Wars are like logjams, in that they are tangles in human communication, with many stuck points and places where they are locked in place. This suggests that if we can find the key logs and get them unstuck, we might be able to make war unnecessary.

Humans commit horrific crimes during wartime that they would never contemplate in any other circumstance: loving fathers unleash fire on other fathers' children; mothers work in factories, manufacturing ammunition with which to blast into bits other mothers and their children. To make war impossible would bless and benefit all people all over the world.

I have put this website on the internet in an attempt to change the world by giving voice to an idea whose time, in my opinion, is long overdue. It is my intention to point out one of the key stuck logs in the jam and to suggest an easy way to get it unstuck.

One of the main ways humans can acquire massive wealth and political power is to manufacture weapons and foment war. This is mentioned in the Christian Bible as "Warmongering." It tends to succeed and to grow and concentrate as the wealth and power so gained are used to create ever more persuasive reasons for war and to escalate the development of ever more deadly and dreadful weapons.

Note the terrible punishment meted upon those who make illegal drugs available for sale. Compare the damage caused by those who profit from selling addictive drugs with the damage done by warmongers and you will see that the drug lords are not even on the same page as the warmongers, but the warmongers operate without fear of punishment, because there is no law against warmongering.

That's the key log I propose to get unlocked.

The result of the influence of the warmongers is violent death, tragedy and pain to enormous numbers of human beings, many of them innocent young children and babies, people of all ages with lives and hopes and loves and aspirations of their own. This is a high crime against Man and God and yet the warmongers are not punished for their incomparably evil deeds.

The major governments of the world are almost without exception ruled or influenced greatly by the warmongers. The massive profits of fomenting war and selling armaments, often to both sides, represents the main stuck log in this jam. I propose that we demand that laws be passed and vigorously prosecuted against warmongering. Those who are found guilty of fomenting war and profiting by it will be publically executed by hanging or imprisoned in solitary confinement for life.

I predict that this alone will decrease the incidence of war to less than ten percent of its present occurence. If our National Defense is really that and not a tool of the warmongers, our country can get back on track and be a blessing to the world and its citizens rather than a curse.
